Another dynamic highlights plugin

Hi.
This plugin has been stuck in review limbo since Feb 25, even though all requested changes have been made.
So screw it, I’m introducing it here, and you can install it manually or using BRAT.

Find the repository at github . com / tine-schreibt / aDHL.

The plugin is based on Dynamic highlights.

Original features:

  • persistent highlights (make searches - RegEx - to highlight text in your notes)
  • dynamic highlights (word under cursor or active selection will be highlighted throughout note)

New features:

  • persistent highlights:
    • you can now edit highlights
    • you can add a tag to your highlights, which will be used to group them
    • you can toggle on/off all persistent highlights (also via command palette)
    • you can toggle on/off all tags (also via command palette)
    • you can toggle on/off individual highlighters (also via command palette)
    • additional text decoration styles
  • dynamic highlight
    • you can toggle on/off both kinds of highlight via command palette
    • additional text decoration styles

Here’s what the settings panel looks like with some examples:

I’d link it, but alas, I can just repeat: github . com / tine-schreibt / aDHL.

I hope you find these new features worthwhile.

Nice plugin, don’t know why it’s not allowed. Installled it with BRAT which up until now i have not used.

Thanks!
I feel like my reviewer just got sick or had a lot of life happen all at once and forgot to put someone else on the task. Which… happens, I guess.

Good news, my reviewer lives. But now the version number in my manifest.json is off. Isn’t programming fun? Isn’t it the greatest fun ever? -.-

Little Update: The plugin has now been validated and can be installed like any other community plugin right inside Obsidian
