Android navigation buttons block fullscreen video UI

Steps to reproduce

On Android

  1. Embed a video into a note using ![](x.com/whatever)
  2. Play the video and fullscreen it
  3. Try to use the ui that is now where my navigation buttons are at the bottom of the screen
  4. Using the back button does not exit fullscreen. But pressing it multiple times just exits the app

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y/N]

Please, follow the Troubleshooting Guide before answering Yes.

Expected result

When I fullscreen a video, the UI to pause and un-fulscreen the video should remain clickable

Actual result

The video buttons are not clickable. Using the back button doesn’t exit fullscreen, it will take me to the last note I had open. But if there wasn’t any previous note to go back to it will only exit the app without leaving fullscreen. I have to swipe the app away in multitasking to reset it.

Additional information

I get the same behavior in restricted mode and with the default theme and appearance with no CSS snippets. Here is a video from an unlisted short I uploaded.
