Steps to reproduce
Create or edit a note name to begin with a period or any number of spaces followed by a period.
Expected result
I would expect Obsidian to warn me, prohibit this, or possibly even replace the period with a specified legal character.
Actual result
Obsidian allows it. But this causes the file to disappear in Obsidian and even removes all links to the file. The file still exists in the vault folder in Windows. But this could go unnoticed with some potentially harmful consequences.

- Operating system: Windows 10
- Obsidian version: v0.12.7
