All my groups in graph view are gone with pressing the reload button

Once you’ve done the above, delete everything above this line.

Steps to reproduce

  • Go to the graph view
  • Enter a Group if you don’t have one
  • Reload the graph view withe pressing the circle with the arrow right of the “Filter” dropdown
  • close the graph view
  • reopen the graph view and look at your notes grouped by colour

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y/N]

Yes

Expected result

I expect to see my notes with the colour coding of the groups

Actual result

All my groups are gone.

Additional information

  • The symbol circle with an arrow I pressed was reseting my whole settings to standrad. This is the wrong symbol for reseting in many apps I know it as reload but never for deleting something.
  • The next thing is that the symbol circle with an arrow is placed right from the dropdown “Filter” it looks like it has nothing to do with the other dropdowns like “Groups”
  • I expect too that deleting settings which are made to stay (like groups) should not be erasable so easy.
  • easily reseting from short term settings like “Filter” is OK, they can destroy nothing. Easily reseting from long term filter like “Groups”, “View” and “Vigors” should not be possible because they can destroy and cause a lot of work doing them again.

Ok. Thank you for your feedback. I don’t see this as a bug.

You can open a FR asking for the icon used in the “Restore Default Settings” button to be changed, and you can open a separate FR to ask about having multiple separate buttons, one for each section.

Thanks!

Hi,
thanks for your respons. I put it as a bug because The Button is not doing for what he looks like and for which part in the GUI he is implemented.
I don’t think that multiple buttons are the right way. It would not be a nice GUI and the dangerous deleting is still to easy to be clicked.
