is there a way to add aliases in a template? i searched but didn’t see answer, but i’m very new here and still figuring a lot out so i’m sorry if this is obvious!

You can put any text you want in a template.

My template includes a bunch of placeholder text for me to update:

---
aliases: []
---
# {{title}}

#topic #touch #bench

Write

If I have an alias, I add it. If not, I delete the YAML block.

Title matches the note file name and I update the placeholder tags to be what they should be. (And If I don’t, then I can search for those default tags to find notes that need more love.)
