Adding number of instances of a word or phrase found in a note to "Find in file"

+1 for this feature. Just switched from evernote and was completely shocked to find that this capability isn’t baked into the product. WTF Obsidian?! Now i’m looking for alternative applications as this feature is critical to me.

I would also really much appreciate this feature!

I, too, am desperate for this feature and would like the same things @Alicila mentioned. Some slightly advanced functionality for matching case, ignoring/matching diacritics, and partial/whole word search would also be very good.

Give a list of all words in a table + how often it occurs

I’ve been waiting for this feature for a long time too, it’s a must-have in Obsidian, especially when dealing with large notes.

This should be core

I don’t know why such a basic and core feature has been delayed for almost 4 years.

  • Now Ctrl + F “Find all” can circle all the results at once,
  • And Ctrl + Shift + F can also show the total number on the right side by searching through the file paths.

It’s obvious that obisidian has the ability to do this, but it just doesn’t show the total number of Ctrl + F search results. This is really, really inconvenient.

Core feature in my opinion

+1 for sure! Even just a small counter that appears when you type Ctrl + F and enter a query would be great, like Chrome does when viewing PDFs!

+1 why we don’t have this very basic and Core feature in my opinion.
Just make the search in note like search in page of Google Chrome

It is so LOL when i need to paste my note to data:text/html,
And search by Chrome ^^

Sorry for my stupid!

Thanks

Will be implemented in v1.8.2. No ETAs.
