I want to have quick access not only to my favorite files, but also to folders

For now you can work around this by using folder notes (a note inside a folder that has the same name as the folder). The community plugin “AidenLX’s Folder Note” makes managing them easier.

I have problems with the suggested plugin, but the required feature was released in obsidian 1.2.7 update. Thread can be closed.
