Use case or problem
In Obsidian (desktop and mobile), users can’t resize table columns, making it very difficult to fit content properly and create visually appealing layouts.
Proposed solution
Implement a table resizing feature like Notion’s, where users can drag column edges to adjust widths. Additionally, allow users to set the table width to either responsive or fixed. This would provide greater control over table formatting and improve usability.
Current workaround (optional)
Users currently have to manually adjust content or use fixed-width formatting, which is inefficient and often results in poor layouts and makes the content unreadable. Some may resort to plugins, disrupting their workflow. I couldn’t even find any plugin that achieves that.
