There are similar requests 1 and 2 but I am not sure if exactly the same.
I have discovered this great plug-in for Joplin that allows to define in config file css classes and wrap text with them:
I am particularly interested in being able to have it work as described in this request.
Can someone do the same plugin for Obsidian, please.
Regardless of coming WYSIWYG it would greatly enhance text customization.
