Add basic image copy from within the app

Use case or problem

I am often required to copy images from obsidian into Word or other programs, however to copy an obsidian file, one must locate the file in explorer and copy it manually. This is highly inefficient when dealing with many images

Proposed solution

create a functionality to right click and copy an image from the obsidian notes so that it can be pasted elsewhere.

Copy image from a note

Currently, either right-click on an image in “Preview pane” or right-click on an image name in “Edit pane”, I can’t copy that image directly. If I select that image in “Edit pane” and use Ctrl/Cmd+C , then paste into another application, it shows something like this:  . It would be helpful when I right-click an image, an option like “Copy Image to Clipboard” shows up in the right-click-menu.

Just take a screenshot (to clipboard ), on Mac it should be : ctrl+shift+cmd+3

To change this shortcut, open system preferences>keyboard>shortcuts

This shortcut is quick and reliable, all you need to do is to draw a rectangle over your image and then, paste the result into any other app
