# Accessing the Editor menu on a tablet

## What I’m trying to do

Access rhe editor menu on a mobile device to perform actions on selected text. I use a right click for this on the desktop app but cannot find the equivalent action on mobile.

## Things I have tried

- Customized mobile toolbar
- Added the Editing Toolbar plugin
- Looked in mobile contextual menu (long press on Android)
- Searched left and right sidebar
- Searched mobile file menu (… in tab bar)

I have heavily customized the editor menu in the Commander plugin to add actions on selected text. I’d prefer to use that rather than duplicating those commands in the mobile toolbar, but I’m unable to find a way to open / access the editor menu from the mobile interface (either on a tablet or phone). Am I missing something, or is it impossible to open the editor menu on mobile?

There is a command called “Show context menu under cursor”

Added it to my mobile toolbar. A bit wonky, but it works. I’d guess the Android (and iOS) API limits what you can add to the native contextual menu.
