Access Vault from NAS on Linux

What I’m trying to do

Hello, I want to open my Vaults that are stored on my NAS with my Laptop (Linux-Fedora)
Haven’t had any problems with accessing them from my Windows-PC but for some reason I can’t open them from the Laptop. When I want to open them with “Open folder as vault” nothing happens.

Things I have tried

Use “Open folder as vault” to open various folders inside the directory – Nothing happens
Right-click the Folders and use “Open with” - Obsidian

Edit: The NAS is a TrueNAS and is in the same network as the PC and Laptop.
The NAS-drive uses SMB sharing.
Theoretically it should work since I can use Libre-Office to access and edit files on the NAS-drive from both the pc and laptop. So I think the problem is Obsidian specific.

Ok I fixed it by mounting the NAS Drive to a folder and opening the vault through the folder.

Now I can open and edit my vaults from my PC and laptop.
