I have an offline version of the 2021 MAXScript Help. I keep the entire thing inside a vault and can successfully link to pages within it. When I click the wiki links to the .htm files in Obsidian, Firefox opens the local files successfully.
The MAXScript 2022 offline help is similar but not identical. Unlike the 2021 version which had all of the .htm JavaScript files within a “wrapped-files” directory, the 2022 version has .html JavaScript files within a “wrapped-files” directory as well as nested folders.
What I’m trying to do
I would like to be able to figure out how to get the links to work.
If I drag and drop the .htm files from 2021 version from the explorer into a note, then remove the .js extension, the links work. That is not the case for when I do the same, removing the .js extension from the .html JavaScript files in the 2022 version, that is except for the index.html. It isn’t because of the nested folders as there are other html JavaScript files directly within “wrapped-files” directory that do not work unlike the index.html, which does.
Sorry for the confusing explanation. I do not understand html/htm enough to know if this is normal.
Thanks for any pointers.
