2nd, 3rd, etc Degree highlight in graph view

Hey everyone.

I’m currently using Obsidian to organise my notes within a project.
The thing is, I use the graph view a lot. Mainly the global graph view, as it easily shows me what’s connected to what.

A feature I can’t seem to find on the global graph is the second degree connections in the graph view, like some people describe it in other forum posts.

I can find the step selector option being implemented in the local graph view, but I don’t have any of the organisation there that I’ve put into my global graph view.

Concretly what I’m looking for is: for the global graph view, when I hover over a node, the 1st degree lights up completely, the 2nd degree lights up 50%. (like in this rudimentary mock up)

Is there any plugin out there or am I overlooking a setting somewhere that makes this possible?

I do believe it would be easier to copy organisation/settings into the local graph view, rather than getting that functionality into the global graph view. That being said, I’ve not used any of the graph views, or related plugins that much.

I did do a simple search: plugins?graph, and you might want to take a look at these two plugins for sure:

They seem to touch in on what you want, or can aid you in your process.
