1.2.2 Bold Italics Not Rendering in Live Preview

Steps to reproduce

In a sandbox vault, type some word and use bold italics using three *'s.

Expected result

Text renders in live preview mode as bold italics.

Actual result

Text does not render in live preview mode as bold italics, but does in reading mode.
